A drive around Teneriffe admiring the warehouses/factories come apartments
Quite possibly the coolest basin ever? (yep, I'm this lame taking a photo of a basin in a public toilet!)

I have to confess I have been on a bit of an online shopping binge lately. First the Ebay orders and then a Outnet order and then a Topshop order. The thing that's making me splurge? Streetstyle blogs! Seeing people enjoy warmer weather on the other side of the world is seeing me start Spring & Summer early... But until I can break out the sandals, bare legs and light fabrics, I will need to add opaques, heels and a woolly cardie/jacket and wait patiently for warm weather :-)

I came down with a cold late on Friday afternoon (nice timing huh) and thus have spent most of the weekend on the couch under a blanket. Our previous plans for a fun weekend were shot. Determined not to waste an entire weekend feeling sorry for myself, I dragged myself off the couch, added some colour to my face via bronzer, rugged up and Mr B and I went for a short bike ride down to one of our favourite local cafes for their wicked 'cure all' juices. 5 serves of vegies, tick. Instant 'cure all?'...hmmm still waiting... But here's hoping I'm on the mend!
At work this week one of our team was lucky enough to attend a Bastille Day breakfast and boy did he get brownie points with all the women for bringing this back to the office! It was impossible to get a photo of this thing before everyone tucked in! Cocoa butter and coconut coated chocolate Eiffel tower... mmmmm
We managed to escape for a few days over the weekend to take a winter break. Nothing like getting out of your environment to give you some perspective. It was blissful. Aside from missing the pups to no end, I didn't want to come back!
Outlook from where we were staying
Our little cottage
(mostly) Local gourmet treats eaten while watching sunsets (excuse bin in background ha)
Colourful and quirky peacocks from a kitsch local boutique ;-)
Btw- loving my new parka. Reached for it most days as it was super chilly!
